Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team, committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface polishing
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas regularly
- Manage floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance techniques
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as trash removal or patio cleaning
- Use manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting of furniture or equipment
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal use
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Follow established housekeeping management procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all tasks
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments is preferred
- Familiarity with janitorial practices and custodial responsibilities in hotels or similar settings is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and sanitation processes
- Knowledge of laundry operations and proper handling of delicate fabrics
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior spaces or landscaping support
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete daily duties within scheduled timeframes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with precision
- Previous housekeeping management experience is beneficial for supervisory roles or team coordination
- Certification or training in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or related fields is a plus
