A Straight Truck Driver will provide exceptional customer service as you safely prepare and ensure that our customers’ household goods are ready for transportation and delivery.
Pay is between $22.00 - $25.00 / an hour.
Reports to:
Operations Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete an efficient pack, load and delivery of all household goods in customer’s home
- Disassemble and assemble basic furniture items to include, but not limited to, tables, chairs, bookcases, desks, beds, etc.
- Ensure to protectively pad and wrap customers belongings for safe transport
- Prevent careless and costly mistakes, including damage, injury, unhappy customers, lost equipment, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Customer facing household goods experience preferred
- Must be in good health and physical condition sufficient to lift and carry 50lbs.
- Communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Valid/Active driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to go out of town if necessary
- Flexibility with scheduling
- Ability to maintain basic logs
