Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 0-10 years to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to practice in family law and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis , and have experience in hearings, trials, legal drafting and managing cases. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through complex legal processes while developing your expertise across multiple practice areas.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis, and other legal databases to support case development and strategy.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, settlement agreements, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage case files and maintaining organized records within the law office’s case management system.
- Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, depositions, negotiations, and client meetings.
- Participate in client consultations to gather facts, explain legal options, and provide updates on case progress.
- Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel or parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients across various civil law matters.
- Stay informed about developments in multiple practice areas .
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission or eligibility to sit for the bar exam.
- Proficiency with legal research tools including LexisNexis strong research skills are essential.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal documents and correspondence.
- Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities combined with effective negotiation skills to advocate for clients’ best interests.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
