American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring active PICC line insertion skills and prior IR experience at a large Level 1 Trauma Hospital.

Interventional Radiology (IR) or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology department within a large hospital setting
-
37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week on day shifts

Rotating shift schedule: 7:00am–3:00pm, 7:30am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:00pm, or 9:00am–5:00pm

The 9:00am–5:00pm shift may occasionally require staying late for post-procedure patient care

No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements

PICC line placement is a core clinical responsibility of this role

Active NJ RN license currently in hand (pending licensure not accepted)

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) — American Red Cross (ARC) certifications are not accepted

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Minimum hands-on experience in an Interventional Radiology setting required

Demonstrated competency in independently inserting PICC lines; a PICC line insertion certificate is preferred for verification

Prior experience working in a large Level 1 Trauma Hospital required

COVID vaccination plus at least one booster required (religious exemptions accepted)

Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Candidates residing anywhere within the state of NJ are considered local and may be offered a reduced rate
