American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of experience and GA or compact RN licensure.

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital environment
-
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-7:00
-
Required to work every other weekend
-
On-call requirement of one 12-hour shift per schedule
-
Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
-
Active RN license (GA or Compact) required at time of consideration

Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required

Skilled in Labor and Delivery Management

Experience circulating for C-sections
-
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care, including circulating for C-sections

Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract

Holiday coverage required: if one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, both must be worked; if three major holidays fall during the assignment, two must be worked

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Candidates with prior Piedmont employment history must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler
