Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of bar operations, including staff supervision, customer service, food and beverage quality, and cleanliness standards
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing stock levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and alcohol licensing laws
- Train, develop, and motivate staff through ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and skill-building initiatives
- Handle cash management duties such as cash handling, POS system operation, and daily reconciliation
- Maintain a lively yet professional environment by supervising shift management, resolving customer concerns promptly, and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation, menu offerings, and special events.
Requirements
Experience managing a bar or restaurant environment with strong leadership skills in food service management
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems, inventory control practices, and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, conducting staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and managing shifts effectively
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques including cooking basics, food handling safety standards, and culinary experience preferred
- Strong understanding of hospitality management principles with experience in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
