Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Independent Contractor Dentist to join our team, PT or FT. This role is designed for dentists who value flexibility, independence, and the ability to practice dentistry according to their own professional judgment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Provide clinical treatment with full autonomy, consistent with accepted standards of care.
- Select your own preferred working days and hours, subject to operatory availability.
- Maintain professional liability insurance, state licensure, and continuing education requirements.
- Collaborate collegially with other independent dentists and support staff while retaining clinical independence.
Compensation
$700/Day Guarantee
Independent Contractor Status
This position is strictly structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor role:
- Dentist retains control over their professional schedule and clinical decisions.
- The office provides space, equipment, and staff support; the dentist provides professional services.
Qualifications
- DDS/DMD degree and active NY state dental license.
- NY State Medicaid Provider
- Current professional liability insurance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Prior experience in general dentistry preferred, but new graduates with confidence in independent practice will be considered.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $1,000.00 per day
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
