BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Dementia Caregiver for an ongoing Thursday assignment supporting a client who requires attentive personal care and strong fall prevention skills.
SCHEDULE
Thursday 8:30 AM to 6 PM (Ongoing Steady Schedule)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide personal care assistance
- Support fall prevention and safe mobility
- Assist with daily routines
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Support dementia related care needs
- Communicate client updates to the family and care team
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1 year of experience working with persons diagnosed with Dementia and Parkinsons.
- 1 year of Fall prevention experience.
- 1 year of Personal Care Experience not limited to bathing, dressing, ambulation, full transfers, and toileting.
- CPR Certified or Willingness to obtain
- Former CNA, Home Health Aide, DSP I or II (Preferred).
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Proactive approach to safety
