Job Overview
Successful office furniture start up based in the UK with showrooms in Chicago, California and New York, looking for a dynamic professional to support operations, order fulfillment and logistics in the US.
Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing, logistics, and sales order fulfilment across multiple time zones
- Invoicing – checking, raising, and posting invoices
- Claims management support, including customer communication and system administration
- Full UK sales order cycle management
- Advanced ERP administration (Business Central) – SKU creation, product configuration, vendor setup, etc.
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Data integrity and system audits
- Documentation creation, including SOPs, process maps, and presentations
- Cross-functional support for Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance teams
Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and PowerPoint
- Operations and logistics experience with strong commercial awareness
- Solid ERP system knowledge and administration experience
- Strong data management and analytical skills
- Proven track record of improving processes and adding value to a business

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain analytics, category management, and process improvement initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP platforms such as Microsoft Business Central.
- Strong background in procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management, contracts negotiation, and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis skills using Excel data analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams globally.
