The New Jersey School of Music in Medford is looking for a trombone/low brass instructor to join our team and take over an existing Wednesday schedule.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum Bachelor of Music in trombone/low brass performance, trombone/low brass pedagogy or music education with trombone/low brass focus.
- Experience teaching private lessons to students 10 years old and up.
- Encourage and prepare students for 2 recitals a year (November and June) and attend the recitals your students are participating in.
- Ability to teach students essential fundamentals, music theory, strong technique, and multiple music styles.
- A deep passion for music and for helping each student reach their own individual musical goals.
- Organized, communicative, punctual, responsible, approachable, and good social skills are important.
