Duties
- Operate power tools safely and effectively to carry out tasks such as concrete cutting, drilling, demolition, and concrete preparation.
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting of construction materials, equipment, and supplies in accordance with safety standards
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards and use of respiratory protection when required
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures safely to reach elevated work areas
- Support the installation of structural components by measuring, aligning, and securing materials as directed
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by disposing of debris and ensuring tools are properly stored after use
Experience
- At least (2) years proven experience working in a construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Physical stamina for manual handling, heavy lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions. Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Strong understanding of safety protocols including respiratory protection and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
- Verifiable Construction Experience
- Valid Driver License and clean motor vehicle record
- Pass background and drug testing
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
