Driving Patrol Officer
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Job Type: Part Time
Shift: 3pm-11pm Thursday-Sunday
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a vigilant, reliable, and safety-conscious Driving Patrol Officer to join our security team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle and foot to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled and random patrols of assigned areas using a company vehicle.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Complete accurate daily reports and incident documentation.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance checks and cleanliness are up to standard.
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- MUST obtain an MVR Report prior to starting--Discussed in detail during interview
- Prior experience in security, or military preferred.
- Strong observation and reporting skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle conflict professionally.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
