Apache Logistics is a third party dedicated contract carrier. This means we contract with several of our customers for long term commitments. We are responsible for their transportation needs, supply and maintenance of equipment, route planning, as well as hiring, training, and maintaining excellent relationships with our committed drivers.

This position will be dedicated to serving our customer who is a leading wholesale distributor of premium pet food and treats serving the markets of Pet Specialty, Outdoor Bird, Livestock/Farm, Lawn & Garden, and Deer. Based in Holland, MI, the company is rooted in tradition and innovation since 1932. This position will be domiciled in Indianapolis, IN to service this customer.
Position Details
- Based on the East side of Indianapolis, IN
- Monday through Friday, 1st shift
- Variable early morning start times
- Home daily
- Multi-stop delivery to customer locations
- Delivery locations throughout IN, OH, KY
- Regular use of electric pallet jack and 2 wheel dollies
- Deliveries are a combination of dock deliveries, lift-gate, and tailgating freight
Compensation and Benefits
- .68 cpm + per stop pay
- $28.00/hour delay

Requirements
- CDL Class A
- 12 months recent Class A Commercial driving experience
- Freight handling and delivery experience preferred
- DOT drug test
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Good driving record
