Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Superintendent to lead and oversee the maintenance and operational functions of our facilities. In this vital role, you will manage maintenance teams, ensure the integrity of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and uphold safety standards across all site operations. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and reliability in facility management while fostering a proactive maintenance culture. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses strong management skills combined with technical expertise in mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC repair, and industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Oversee mechanical systems repair including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and high/low voltage systems using schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Manage facilities maintenance procedures in compliance with OSHA safety regulations and safety protocols.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and optimize resource allocation.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to identify issues early and implement corrective actions.
- Develop project management plans for large-scale repairs or upgrades while coordinating with contractors and vendors.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety incidents, schematics, and troubleshooting reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations including OSHA standards for high voltage and electrical safety practices.
- Manage facilities management tasks such as managing facilities maintenance teams, overseeing safety compliance, and ensuring efficient operation of mechanical systems.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance repair procedures and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Must have out of ground experience. Concrete/Steele.
- Must have Procore experience.
- Experience with projects at least $20m up.
- Proven supervisory experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance roles with a focus on mechanical systems repair.
- Strong management skills with experience managing facilities maintenance teams or similar groups.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, electrical systems (including high voltage), and engineering troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience working with schematics, Ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to industrial environments and facilities safety standards.
- Experience utilizing CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively from planning through execution within deadlines.

Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
