FRIDAY: 6:00AM - 1:30PM
SATURDAY: 6:00AM - 1:30PM
Position Summary
The Lot Agent is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the vehicle lot while providing excellent customer service. This position involves greeting customers, assisting with vehicle rentals and returns, maintaining vehicle readiness, transporting vehicles, and supporting daily rental operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors and in a fast paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist customers during vehicle pick-up and return processes.
- Answer customer questions regarding vehicle features, rental procedures, and company policies.
- Inspect vehicles with customers before departure and upon return.
- Address customer concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Vehicle Operations
- Shuttle vehicles between company locations, service facilities, and designated parking areas.
- Move, organize, and stage vehicles on the rental lot.
- Perform vehicle inspections for cleanliness, damage, fuel levels, and overall condition.
- Ensure vehicles are properly fueled, cleaned, and prepared for rental.
- Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Lot Maintenance
- Maintain an organized, safe, and presentable rental lot.
- Monitor vehicle inventory and parking assignments.
- Assist with lot cleanliness and general appearance.
- Ensure company vehicles are secured according to company procedures.
Administrative Support
- Complete vehicle condition reports and required documentation accurately.
- Assist with inventory tracking and vehicle status updates.
- Support office staff with operational tasks as needed.
The Lot Agent will perform other duties as assigned to support daily rental operations and ensure exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive various vehicle types, including cars, SUVs, and vans.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous experience in automotive, transportation, hospitality, or rental operations.
- Familiarity with vehicle inspections and basic vehicle operations.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced rental and transportation environment.
- Frequent interaction with customers and coworkers.
- Combination of outdoor lot work and indoor office support.
Must be at least 18 years or older.
Must have a valid Guam Driver's License.
Must have at least 2 years driving experience.
Rate based on experience and schedule availability.
