As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to support our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing administrative office support across the company. This role includes managing reception duties, shipping and receiving, responding to customer inquiries, and providing information to vendors as needed. The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will process accounts payable transactions, perform routine financial calculations, support general ledger activities, and verify the accuracy of data prepared by other employees, including inventory records.
Essential Functions
Accounting
· Maintain financial records using Microsoft Office and ERP or accounting software.
· Record transactions, update accounts, and reconcile discrepancies.
· Process accounts payable and receivable, maintain bank records, and prepare deposits.
· Prepare financial reports, sales reports, and 1099-related filings.
· Work with the COO and CPA to support accurate profit-and-loss reporting.
Office Support
· Manage files, customer records, and company data.
· Provide clerical, reception, and showroom support.
· Greet guests, answer phones and emails, and support customer inquiries.
· Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, order supplies, and prepare documents.
· Prepare quotes, contracts, and staffing schedules.
Compliance and Marketing
· Follow all applicable company, state, and federal requirements.
· Support advertising and marketing materials as needed.
· Use tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Dropbox, and Google Workspace.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is an on-site position. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an expected schedule of 24 to 30 hours per week.
Education and Experience
1. Associate degree in accounting and 3 to 5 years of related experience preferred.
2. Experience with ERP software is a plus.
3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
4. Ability to maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor for walk-in customers while supporting the sales and design teams.
5. Success in this role requires initiative, flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
