We are seeking a Hostess/Host to join our team at Hunter's Tavern! The Hostess/Host is responsible for greeting guests as they enter the restaurant. Seats and present clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional and quicker manner. This is full-time/part-time non-exempt position to work nights, days, weekends, holidays. Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to the host/hostess team.

Monitor team performance and provide feedback to manager.

Ensure all host/hostess follow restaurant policy and procedures.

Have a good understanding of Open Table.

Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.

Always strive to exceed guests' expectations.

Take names on waiting list.

Run the floor plan board.
-
Observes tables and keeps track of dirty, clean and occupied tables.

Take guests information and quote wait time to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.

Cleans, organizes, and stock menus at host stand.

Answer phone and answer questions concerning the menu and the restaurant.

Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive experience.

Fills To-Go orders.

Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair, and personal hygiene are essential.
