The Opportunity
General Laborer / Building and Grounds Conducts and operates grounds keeping and building maintenance duties. Has knowledge of operating tractors with mowers, brush cutters, and other types of grounds keeping equipment. On as a needed basis monitor power plant machinery and systems. Makes periodic inspection rounds of generator equipment/system/facility and monitors equipment operation to ensure uninterrupted power to transmitters and associated ancillary equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Has knowledge of operating tractors with mowers, brush cutters, and other types of grounds keeping equipment.

Ability to perform other duties such as painting, corrosion removal and treatment, and the use of chemical applications for grounds keeping.

Maintains records of assigned tasks and inspections.

Operate all the powered equipment in a safe manner.

Ability to work limited overtime.

Be trained to operate power generation emergency generators both manually and automatically.

On as a needed basis monitor power plant machinery and systems. Makes periodic inspection rounds of generator equipment/system/facility and monitors equipment operation to ensure uninterrupted power to facility.

Perform tasks assigned by the Site Manager / Site Supervisors.

Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Education

High School Diploma

Must complete all assigned training for the position.

This position located in Tinian and/or Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands is a temporary full-time position to provide support for operational and contract requirements. While the assignment is currently anticipated to last approximately one year, the actual duration may be shorter or longer depending on business and contract needs. The Company may end the temporary assignment at any time, with or without notice, consistent with application law and contract requirements.
