***MAKE UP TO $1000/WEEK*** Community Outreach Canvasser Position
Santa Fe Community Voices is hiring Community Outreach Canvassers to connect directly with Santa Fe residents about hot topic issues in their community.
This is face-to-face, neighborhood-level work: you'll knock on doors, start real conversations, listen to people's concerns, and share information that matters to the community. If you care about your city and enjoy talking with people, this is a great fit!
Canvassers will be hired on a rolling basis with opportunities starting Immediately! No experience is necessary and all levels are encouraged to apply! Daily, flexible scheduling is available. This is not a commission based job. Canvassers are paid a flat rate of $25 per hour.
Canvassers will not need their own transportation. Transportation to daily canvassing locations will be provided.
What You'll Do:
- Canvass assigned neighborhoods on foot, engaging residents one-on-one
- Have thoughtful, in-depth conversations about local issues affecting the community
- Accurately record responses and interactions using a phone or tablet
- Represent the campaign professionally, respectfully, and accurately
- Meet daily outreach goals while maintaining quality conversations
Requirements:
- A working smartphone with data
- Ability to walk and stay on your feet for extended periods, outdoors, in varying weatherAbility to walk for several hours at a time
- Strong communications skills
- A commitment to engaging with community residents
- Must be at least 18 to apply
