Thalle Industries is currently looking to add a highly skilled Concrete Plant and Concrete Truck Mechanic to join our expanding team.
Job Description Summary:
The primary responsibility of the position is to keep the concrete plant and concrete trucks operational. Conduct repairs and maintenance as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot plant maintenance
· Anticipate needed parts and supplies, fabricate parts when needed
· Use cutting torch and weld.
· Daily inspection of entire plant facility.
· Performing routine, preventative, diagnostic, and repair maintenance on all plant equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner.
· Perform routine maintenance on concrete trucks, trailers, and mixers. This includes oil changes, battery testing, tire pressure and rotations, and vehicle emissions.
· Inspect brake systems, wheel bearings, steering mechanisms, and run all system diagnostics.
· Conduct testing and use devices to diagnose malfunctioning parts and systems.
· Perform routine maintenance on trucks, trailers, and mixers. This includes oil changes, battery testing, tire pressure and rotations, and vehicle emissions.
· Communicate with drivers and operators to identify problems
· Perform necessary work and maintenance on semi-tractors, dump trucks, cement mixers, water trucks and pick up trucks, and smaller equipment like backhoes & rollers
· Needs to be able to preform roadside repairs to concrete trucks.
· Keep concrete trucks maintained and able to deliver product daily
· This position requires a person who is self-motivated, professional, and willing to be a team player
· Will perform other duties as assigned by management personnel.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Plant and Concrete Truck Mechanic
- Strong automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance, including air brakes and hydraulics
- Familiarity with transmissions, alignment, and suspension systems
- Experience with heavy equipment operation and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
- Excellent customer service skills and service technician experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
