As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and supporting various financial operations.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
- Engage in public accounting practices as needed.
- Maintain proficiency in accounting software such as Appfolio
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field is essential.
- Associates or bachelors degree required
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with HOA accounting is advantageous
- Experience in accrual accounting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of AppFolio software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
