Titan Truck Equipment was founded in 1986 by Greg and Deb Hauck as a wholesale light truck accessory distributor servicing new & used automotive dealerships. In 1989 Titan was sold to Nelson Truck Equipment & Accessories in Seattle.
From here Titan also grew into commercial truck body and truck equipment distribution adding a shop and the ability to install everything it sold. Titan has stayed close to its roots in light truck accessories and commercial truck equipment over the years, but also now sells and installs utility truck equipment & aerial devices, law enforcement vehicles & public safety equipment, towing & recovery vehicles, and hotrod restoration. Titan Truck Equipment is celebrating it's 40th anniversary this year.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main focus of the Back Parts Counter position is to provide service to the installation shop. Daily tasks of moving product and bodies to shop bays, checking in freight, unloading freight trucks and maintaining inventory. A self-motivated person with excellent time management is a must. Customer service skills and a positive attitude are important.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist with shop employees with parts.
- Make delivery and will call runs.
- Maintain returns and return shelf.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels.
- Check in Freight and stage.
- Using the schedule, maintain job staging.
- Dust and clean parts room weekly or as needed.
- Assist in cleaning parts room bathroom.
- Assist in picking up garbage in the Equipment building, parts department, and outside facilities.
- Unload freight trucks with forklift.
- Heavy 15K Forklift operation is required and/or trainable
- Move bodies from inventory area to shop.
- Cycle count inventory
- Maintain inventory control
- Position includes but not limited to the above.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Must be knowledgeable in inventory control and cycle counts. Must have a positive attitude. Must be self-motivated.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
