TAP Plastics is the leading retailer of plastics and plastic-related products in the industry. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Sacramento team.
This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced retail and fabrication environment. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Store Manager to support daily operations, assist customers, help lead the team, and help drive a positive and productive store culture.

- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with projects and product solutions
- Help oversee daily store operations and workflow
- Support, train, and motivate team members
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and store organization
- Answer phones, process customer orders, and handle customer follow-up
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Assist in shop coordination and production flow as needed
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Leadership, supervisor, or keyholder experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in both customer-facing and hands-on environments
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 Lbs.
- Help to drive sales
Retail, customer service, warehouse, shop, contractor supply, or related experience is helpful. We are willing to train the right candidate with strong leadership potential and a willingness to learn.
- Full-time – 40 hours per week
- Monday through Saturday business hours
