Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Mechanic or Maintenance Tech to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly and accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, motors, pumps, valves, and electrical wiring to restore equipment functionality efficiently.
- Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks on various appliances and mechanical systems across the facility.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to facilitate precise repairs and installations.
- Lead or assist with team efforts in maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness across all work areas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Boilers, conveyors, or related mechanical fields.
- Service technician experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and document maintenance activities clearly.
