Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Front Desk Night Auditor to join our hospitality team on the third shift. This vital role combines the responsibilities of guest relations, administrative oversight, and hotel operations management during overnight hours. As a Night Auditor, you will ensure seamless guest experiences, maintain accurate financial records, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality service. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for all guests while supporting the smooth functioning of hotel operations through the night.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using hotel management systems such as OPERA.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, verifying charges, payments, and reservations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed records of daily financial transactions, shift reports, incident logs, and other essential documentation.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and courteously.
- Monitor hotel security via CCTV surveillance, perform safety checks, and respond promptly to any emergency procedures or incidents.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to address guest needs and resolve issues swiftly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; resort experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or similar systems.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual skills are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations techniques, and phone etiquette for professional multi-line phone handling.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in night audit or front desk roles within a hotel environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while providing exceptional hospitality services.
