Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process cash, credit, and digital transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including handling ingredients and operating kitchen equipment to ensure timely service.
- Upsell menu items and suggest add-ons to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety standards.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed.
- Support food safety management by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food storage, and hygiene standards.
- Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with general restaurant sanitation to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately during busy periods, processing payments swiftly while providing excellent customer service.
- Operate POS systems confidently to handle customer orders, returns, and refunds with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly preferred; food service experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong food handling knowledge along with understanding of food safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Proven ability in customer service, including effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with operating kitchen equipment and supporting food preparation activities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
