Job Title: Sales Floor Associate
Location: Ace Hardware Newburgh - 7844 W ST RT 66
Ace Hardware East is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Sales Floor Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist customers with product selection, provide expert advice, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized. Plumbing knowledge and general hardware store knowledge are a plus and will help you better serve our customers.
Positions Available:
- Part-Time: 20–25 hours per week
- Full-Time: 30–40 hours per week
- Weekend work is required
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Provide knowledgeable advice and solutions, especially for plumbing and hardware-related products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
- Operate point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Basic plumbing knowledge and general hardware store knowledge are strong advantages
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass a DRUG SCREEN and BACKGROUNG CHECK
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
