Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client's preferences.
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring a hygienic environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently.
- Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products, makeup items, nail care products, and upselling services to boost revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication, active listening, and personalized consultations.
- Support store management with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing wait times, and handling inquiries professionally.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering, and customer engagement strategies to foster a collaborative atmosphere.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with proven experience in hair styling and grooming techniques.
- Proficiency in hair extensions application, color theory principles, straight razor shaving, and makeup application.
- Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele and team members effectively.
- Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques to enhance client experience and increase store revenue.
- Ability to perform specialized services including eyelash extensions and nail care when needed.
