Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Business Office Manager to lead the administrative and operational functions of our office environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily office activities, managing vendor relationships, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily office operations, including front desk management, multi-line phone systems, and general clerical tasks such as filing and bookkeeping.
- Implement a CRM. Ie. JobNimbus, Acculynx
- Oversee vendor management to ensure timely procurement of supplies, equipment maintenance, and service contracts.
- Manage scheduling for meetings, appointments, and events; coordinate calendar management for leadership and team members.
- Handle human resources functions including onboarding new staff, maintaining employee records, and supporting training & development initiatives.
- Administer payroll processing using QuickBooks or similar accounting software; ensure accurate record-keeping for time tracking and compensation.
- Develop and monitor office budgets; track expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising operational efficiency.
- Organize special events and meetings through event planning skills to foster team engagement and professional development.
- Maintain effective communication with staff at all levels; promote a positive work environment through excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in an office or administrative setting with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong background in office management, including clerical, administrative, and bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Experience with QuickBooks or comparable financial software for payroll and budgeting tasks.
- Prior involvement in human resources functions such as onboarding, training & development, and employee record management.
- Familiarity with construction and/or roofing industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
