What You'll Do
Service Requests & Repairs
- Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, leaks, and clogs
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues, including outlets, switches, and lighting
- Perform appliance repairs and general maintenance
- Complete minor carpentry and building repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems (strongly preferred)
Apartment Turnovers
- Prepare apartments for new residents by completing repairs, painting, patching, and punch-list items
- Ensure all units meet company quality and readiness standards
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance throughout the community
- Identify and address maintenance concerns before they become larger issues
- Help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and curb appeal of the property
On-Call Responsibilities
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
- Respond promptly and professionally to urgent maintenance issues
Communication & Documentation
- Maintain accurate work order and maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied homes
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Multifamily property maintenance experience
- HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
- Plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry skills
- Experience using property management software such as AppFolio, Yardi, or similar systems
Certifications Preferred
- EPA 608 Certification
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- HVAC certifications or trade-related credentials
