Job Overview
We are seeking a driven, organized, and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, performance, and maintenance of residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced with the AppFolio platform or a similar property management ERP system and capable of managing property operations efficiently through the system. Experience with HUD and Section 8 is a plus.
The Property Manager will be responsible for tenant relations, marketing, leasing coordination, showing available properties, maintenance coordination with the maintenance department, rent collection, budgeting, vendor coordination, eviction and court management as needed, and overall property performance while ensuring all records and workflows are properly maintained within AppFolio. This role requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
This person will also assist with answering calls and assisting with our handyman services company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties
- Utilize AppFolio for tenant management, maintenance tracking, accounting, leasing, reporting, and communication
- Coordinate tenant communications, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
- Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling with the maintenance department
- Conduct routine property inspections and ensure property standards are maintained
- Monitor rent collections, delinquency reports, and financial performance
- Maintain accurate property records, invoices, and operational documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and maintenance teams
- Assist in budgeting and expense management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local housing regulations
- Answering phones, texts and emails from tenants
Qualifications
- Previous property management experience required
- Must be highly knowledgeable and proficient in AppFolio or a similar ERP System
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously
- Experience coordinating maintenance and vendor operations
- Knowledge of leasing processes and tenant relations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
