Position Overview
As a Bakery Sales Associate, you will be the face of our bakery—assisting retail customers, helping clients place orders for custom cakes and desserts, and supporting daily administrative tasks that keep our bakery running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist retail customers with bakery purchases
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone
- Help customers place and coordinate special orders for custom cakes, desserts, and celebrations
- Answer questions about products, flavors, pricing, and ordering options
- Process sales transactions accurately
- Maintain an attractive, clean, and well-stocked bakery display area
- Assist with order organization, paperwork, and other administrative duties
- Communicate customer requests clearly with the bakery production team
- Support overall front-of-house operations as needed
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Retail, bakery, restaurant, or hospitality experience is a plus
- Passion for food, celebrations, and creating great customer experiences
