Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. This role is essential in ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness, and delivering outstanding service to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for hospitality management. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety standards, proper handling techniques, and culinary procedures to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Utilize ToastPOS systems POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy.
- Lead shift management by coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards to uphold cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
- Support restaurant management initiatives including budgeting, cost control, and customer service excellence to enhance overall restaurant performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants; fine dining or casual dining experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, team management, and interviewing skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and inventory control practices.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on training & development to foster a motivated team environment.
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant experience with a focus on food service management.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
