Mountain Machine and Fabrication LLC is seeking a reliable, motivated team member to join our growing business.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Program CNC equipment using CNC programming languages and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to produce precise parts.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and engineering specifications to guide machining processes.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts with precision tools such as dial indicators and micrometers to verify dimensional accuracy.
Skills
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Skilled in operating precision measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators.
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes for both lathe and milling operations; experience with CNC milling machines is essential.
- Familiarity with CAM programming software. Autodesk or Master CAM preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, maintenance procedures.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, tooling fixtures.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
