Library Alehouse, a beloved neighborhood spot located just blocks from the beach in Santa Monica, is looking for a friendly, organized, and upbeat Host to join our front-of-house team.
As the first and last impression for every guest, our hosts play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly and kindly, and knows how to manage flow with a smile—even when it gets busy.
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, professional, and guest-first attitude
- Ability to manage waitlists and reservations using a digital seating system
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- A team player who’s dependable and punctual
- Previous host or customer service experience a plus, but not required
Experience
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service within the food service industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to handle reservations and inquiries effectively.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
