Field Trip Educator / Independent Contractor

Availability: Flexible schedule / As needed Monday - Friday from 9 am to 1 pm.
Objective: To enthusiastically lead field trips for CHEC's 2nd and 4th-grade Environmental Education Program in Charlotte County.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various field trip programs including guided hikes, wading trips, and boat cruises.
- Educate about the Charlotte County watershed and water quality, native plants and animals, and the importance of preserving and protecting our environment.
- Provide an educational and memorable experience for students.
- Transport materials needed for the trips, such as dip nets and educational specimens.
- Distribute and collect materials from teachers associated with the trips.
- Work harmoniously with CHEC staff and co-educators to create schedules and discuss new concepts.
Paid training and all materials needed are provided.
Must be able to pass a background check.
