Maintenance Mechanic

Schedule: Rotating 2nd and 3rd shift schedule with alternating 36 and 48-hour work weeks.
Compensation: Base pay starts at $37.56 per hour, plus additional shift premiums and opportunities for professional advancement.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, full-time Maintenance Mechanic to manage the installation, repair, and diagnostics of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, and control valves. You will utilize your expertise in AC/DC electrical systems, interpreting schematics, and operating diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, amp meters, and Volt-Ohm meters. Our team relies on your proficiency with Programmable Logic Controls, your commitment to preventative maintenance protocols, and your ability to track work orders effectively. You must demonstrate the versatility to maintain all facility machinery and possess the capability to utilize mills, lathes, and arc or Heliarc welding equipment for fabrication and repair tasks.
Core Duties:

Mentor junior staff by sharing your technical expertise during complex equipment repairs.

Maintain composure while addressing urgent equipment malfunctions under tight deadlines.

Prioritize rapid response times to minimize downtime and restore operational capacity.

Perform comprehensive diagnostics across a diverse range of industrial machinery.

Execute necessary repairs on both production-line and facility-wide equipment.

Improve overall equipment reliability and operational effectiveness through proactive maintenance.

Support the team by responding to maintenance requests and assisting with ongoing repair projects.

Evaluate machinery to generate detailed repair lists and prioritize long-term maintenance needs.

Follow established task lists to accurately diagnose issues and implement corrective solutions.

Apply advanced knowledge of 480V 3-phase high-voltage motor systems.

Perform integrated multi-craft repairs, addressing both mechanical and electrical system components.

Provide technical guidance to entry-level mechanics to help them resolve challenging maintenance issues.
