Warehouse and Food Service Delivery Driver
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Warehouse and Food Service Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up products according to established schedules.
- Load, unload, inspect, and secure products for transport.
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivery and obtain customer signatures as required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company policies, DOT regulations (if applicable), and safety procedures.
- Provide professional, courteous service to customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Assist with general warehouse projects and other duties as assigned.
- Serve as backup driver when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must have a valid class A or B commercial license. Manual transmission necessary.
- Previous warehouse, delivery, or logistics experience preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation and use handheld devices or inventory software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in warehouse and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Thursday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
- Occasional overtime or weekends as business needs require.
