Position Summary:
As the Driver's License Examiner supervisor this position plans, assigns, reviews, and evaluates the work of staff. Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision. This position is required to conduct all phases of automobile and motorcycle driver license testing including written/oral and vision. Responds orally to customer complaints and takes action to ensure all issues are resolved satisfactorily. May be required to travel to any Drivers License Exam station statewide to administer examinations for driver license testing. Balances money daily and compiles all reports for the office. This position will require travel to the surrounding offices.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing & Certification: Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license to perform the essential functions of this position.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, a good driving record and six months experience in examining and licensing to operate vehicles on public highways, roads and streets.
Preferred Experience: Prefer 12 months training and supervisory experience in an office environment plus 12 months face-to-face customer service experience in an office, retail or food service environment.
Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: KBI check and FBI fingerprint required due to involvement in application/issuance process for KS Driver's License and/or KS ID Card.
