Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ability to be proactive, anticipate client needs, and consistently go above and beyond to ensure exceptional care and support.
- Provide personal care and hygiene support (bathing, grooming, toileting).
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety.
- Support clients with behavioral health needs, including dementia, traumatic brain injuries, and developmental disabilities.
- Administer medication reminders
- Foster emotional well-being through companionship and social activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean-living environment with light housekeeping.
- Document care and report changes in client conditions.
Requirements:
- CNA or HHA Certification (preferred)
- Experience with advanced client care and behavioral health support (preferred)
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to pass a background check & drug screening
- Willingness to work nights and weekends or coverage shifts (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with bending, standing, and navigating stairs
