The Haven Properties is seeking a Venue Manager to join our team! We are responsible for preparing, creating, and hosting some of the most important events in people’s lives. This role is an integral part of providing the best product to our clients, helping ensure our venue is the right choice for them, and making sure their event is perfect in every way.
Job Responsibilities
- Arrive prior to expected clients to prepare the venue for rentals, tours, etc.
- Spearhead onsite tours and sales of the venue
- Manage incoming calls, chats, and leads through various platforms
- Oversee the setup and tear down of both indoor and outdoor events
- Oversee employees for a variety of positions during an event including, but not limited to, facilities management, property management, bartending, and event staff.
- Overseeing the upkeep of facilities including grounds, interiors, outdoor patios, and décor shed
- Manage online presence and social media platforms to grow our following
- Assist in the growth of online social platforms through regular posting on stories
- Assist with the planning and execution of 2+ client events and 1+ vendor event per year in the space
- Assist in management of the venue calendar ensuring professional time-management for staff, clients, & vendors
- Other duties as assigned by venue ownership
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to work evenings and weekends during our scheduled events
- Reliable transportation to and from the venue
- Ability to work independently and think on your feet
- Able to communicate professionally and effectively with other staff and visitors of the venue
- Honesty, integrity, personal responsibility & extreme attention to detail in all areas
Preferred:
- Customer service experience
- Wedding or other events experience
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
