Job Title: Graphic Production Manager – Wide Format Print & Installation

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Graphic Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end production workflow for a fast-paced wide format print and installation company. This role is responsible for managing prepress, production scheduling, material coordination, quality control, and installation readiness for a variety of large-format graphics including vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, signage, wall murals, and event branding.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong in print production workflows, and comfortable managing both in-house production teams and installation timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management
- Oversee daily wide format print production from file intake through final output
- Review and prepare client artwork for production (prepress, color correction, scaling, bleeds, RIP setup)
- Manage print schedules to ensure on-time delivery across multiple concurrent projects
- Coordinate production priorities between print, finishing, and installation teams
Quality Control
- Ensure all printed materials meet brand standards, color accuracy, and durability requirements
- Perform final checks before production release and installation
- Troubleshoot print quality issues (color matching, material defects, file resolution issues)
Team & Workflow Coordination
- Lead and support production technicians and installers
- Collaborate with account managers, designers, and installers to ensure project accuracy
- Improve workflow efficiency and reduce production bottlenecks
Material & Vendor Management
- Order and manage wide format substrates, vinyl, laminates, and installation supplies
- Maintain relationships with vendors and manage inventory levels
- Evaluate new materials and production technologies
Installation Coordination
- Ensure all jobs are properly kitted and installation-ready
- Communicate job specs, install notes, and timelines to installation crews
- Support site readiness and troubleshooting when needed
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years in wide format print production, signage, or graphics manufacturing
- Strong understanding of prepress workflows (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Experience with RIP software (Onyx, Caldera, EFI Fiery, or similar)
- Knowledge of vinyl graphics, vehicle wraps, and large-format installation processes
- Proven ability to manage production schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and color accuracy standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fleet graphics or motorsports wrap production
- Background in installation or hands-on signage production
- Familiarity with print finishing equipment (laminators, cutters, plotters)
- Lean manufacturing or workflow optimization experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment
