We are a small, patient-centered integrative healthcare practice in Annapolis, Maryland, and we're looking for a part-time Medical Assistant to join our growing team.
This role will primarily support our providers with patient care and day-to-day clinical needs while also helping with general office tasks as needed. Because we're a small practice, we're looking for someone who is comfortable wearing different hats and stepping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed.
We're looking for someone who is calm, dependable, organized, warm with patients, and attentive to the little things that help a day run smoothly. The right person doesn't need to know everything on day one, but should be willing to learn, take initiative, and genuinely enjoy being part of a team that cares deeply about the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and take vitals
- Prepare and turn over exam and treatment rooms
- Assist providers with patient care and procedures
- Prepare clinical and IV treatment areas
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Monitor and restock clinical supplies
- Help keep patient, clinical, and treatment areas clean and organized
- Assist with phones, scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and other office needs as needed
- Communicate warmly and professionally with patients
- Pitch in where needed to help the day run smoothly for patients, providers, and the rest of the team
We'd Love to Find Someone Who
- Has approximately 1+ year of medical assisting, medical office, or related healthcare experience
- Is comfortable taking vitals and working directly with patients
- Has experience administering injections and/or starting IVs — not required
- Has Medical Assistant training or certification — preferred, but not required
- Is calm, organized, dependable, friendly, and attentive to detail
- Takes initiative and is willing to help without needing every task assigned
- Is comfortable learning new systems, procedures, and clinical workflows
- Has an interest in integrative, functional, or holistic healthcare
- Enjoys working as part of a small team and is willing to pitch in wherever needed
We don't expect you to walk in knowing everything. We're happy to train the right person, and we're just as interested in finding someone who is reliable, capable, willing to learn, and a great fit with our team.

- Monday–Thursday availability is likely, with some flexibility preferred
- Hourly compensation based on experience

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
