JSY Elder Care is a small multi site, local and privately family owned Elder Care provider located in Battle Creek Michigan. Our purpose at JSY is to provide a safe and loving home environment for the elders that have been entrusted to our care and to make JSY properties not just houses but homes. JSY Elder Care staff members are committed to providing quality care to both male and female aged individuals 60 years and older with and without physical and certain cognitive impairments. This position is a entry level second/third shift position and hours may vary based on your availability. Pay will be compensated based on proven experience and performance with our company in accordance with average pay for the local caregiver industry. This position would be an ideal fit for someone that is new to the caregiving field or a person looking for part time hours and someone who has a heart for helping others.
Your duties would be but are not limited to:
- Providing direct care and support to elderly individuals.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Support individuals in participating in activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transfers of individuals who may have limited mobility.
- Knowledge of AFC procedures and ability to provide basic medical care preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents individuals, families, and staff members.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
