Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and reliable Dump Truck Drivers to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently across various construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws
- Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and debris with precision and care
- Conduct routine inspections of dump trucks to ensure mechanical soundness and report any issues promptly
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other heavy equipment operators to optimize material delivery schedules
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks, including fluid checks and minor repairs, leveraging your mechanical knowledge
- Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support other construction activities as needed, including assisting with excavator, loader, backhoe, grader, water truck, dozer, or horizontal drilling operations when qualified
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dozers or tankers in a construction setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and minor repairs on heavy machinery
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for safe commercial driving practices
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations
- Hands-on experience with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands is highly desirable
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques or paving operations is a plus
- Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects involving multiple types of heavy machinery
