Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert patient care in our surgical center setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the patient pre operatively and recover the patient in the PAC-U post operatively.
- Assess patient health needs, symptoms, conditions, and responses to care.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered and within scope of practice.
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient progress, changes in condition, and care provided.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records using paper or electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication use, preventive care, discharge instructions, and ongoing health management.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status, following facility protocols.
- Promote infection prevention, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and members of the care team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, depending on role requirements.
- Current and unrestricted nursing license in the state of PA.
- Basic Life Support, ACLS and PALS certification required.
- Previous nursing or clinical experience preferred, but new graduates may be considered.
- Knowledge of nursing standards, patient safety practices, infection control, and documentation requirements.

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
