Monday-Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Retail Security Supervisor to lead and support our on-site security team. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and vendors while delivering excellent customer service and strong team leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers and Shift Leads
- Manage performance, including coaching and corrective actions when needed
- Assist with hiring, training, and ongoing development of staff
- Ensure proper scheduling, coverage, and accurate timekeeping
Security Operations
- Oversee daily security operations and ensure compliance with post orders and company policies
- Conduct site patrols and inspections to maintain safety standards
- Ensure reports, logs, and documentation are completed accurately and on time
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms; coordinate with local authorities as needed
Safety & Systems Management
- Monitor and support the use of security systems (CCTV, alarms, fire panels, access control, elevators)
- Ensure all equipment and company vehicles are maintained and functioning properly
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and enforce safety protocols
Client & Communication
- Build strong relationships with mall management, tenants, and local police/fire departments
- Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager regarding team and site performance
- Provide excellent customer service through professional interactions with all visitors
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Prior security experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security licenses/certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (report writing required)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations

Work Environment
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring time spent both supervising staff and actively participating in security operations, including patrols and incident response.

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Required
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system, one year of which must be in the capacity of a supervisory position within the Security Industry.
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
- State Guard License not required in Indiana.
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.

- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
