NeuRoads Rehab Technician - Full-time
The NeuRoads Rehab Technician supports individuals with acquired brain injuries in an assisted living setting. This role involves implementing, teaching, training, supervision, and direct assistance to help participants regain independence and maintain a healthy, safe lifestyle,
Key Responsibilities:

Provide instruction and support in daily living skills, including behavior management,
communication, socialization, and community integration.

Implement individualized support strategies, teaching plans, and nursing care plans as
outlined in each participant’s Individual Support Plan (ISP).

Assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, leisure activities, and community inclusion.

Serve as a positive role model in both home and community settings.

Respond appropriately and effectively to emergencies.
-
Support participants in learning self-administration of medications, following ARCA
policies and state regulations.

Maintain participant dignity and rights at all times, providing care with respect and
sensitivity to privacy.

Provide transportation as needed.

Remain alert and awake for the entire shift.
Documentation and Compliance:

Complete all required documentation, including:
o Daily notes on attendance and activities of daily living
o Progress reports on goals and objectives
o Incident reports
o Medication administration records

Ensure all documentation complies with ARCA policies and applicable regulations
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma/GED and experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries or in a similar
healthcare/support role is preferred• Ability to teach and support individuals in developing independence.• Strong communication, observational, and organizational skills.

Must maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.

Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record

Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergencies and be alert and attentive throughout the shift including graveyards shifts
