Blender Products, Inc. is 50+ year old, privately owned, sheet metal manufacturing company. The company is looking for a PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR to join its production team. Seeking at least Level 1 Press Brake Operator qualification. The job works four 10 hour days, Monday through Thursday, provides excellent benefits (Health & Dental Insurance, 401K, Short and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, paid holidays and vacation time). Minimal over-time opportunities.
PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR
Level 1 Starting Pay: $18-20/hour
· 1-year experience
· Select and setup tooling for all press brakes
· Create and run on 1 setting manual operation
· Read flat layout
· Supervisor checks all parts
· Good Physical Condition (lift 50 lbs.)
· Skilled with Tape Measure and Calipers
· Routine machine maintenance
Level 2 Starting Pay: $21+/hour
· 2-5 years of experience
· Tooling set up for all press brakes
· Create and run program including bend deductions and bend allowance
· Compound bends
· Read blue prints and calculate layout based on these prints
· Foresight on needs for next operation
· Supervisor checks first part
· Suggests changes to parts/drawings
· Troubleshooting machine
Level 3 Starting Pay: $24+
· Journeyman
· Problem solver & foresees problems
· Make Jigs for back stops
· No need for supervisor check
· Full machine maintenance responsibilities – can perform all maintenance items in-house
