Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete layouts and forms.
- Install rebar reinforcement and metal stud framing to strengthen concrete structures.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely for tasks such as concrete pumping, mixing, and finishing.
- Perform concrete finishing techniques including smoothing, troweling, and sealing to achieve desired surface quality.
- Assist with form construction and removal, ensuring proper alignment and stability during pours.
- Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to safety protocols, schematics, and project timelines.
- Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for demolition or finishing work related to concrete structures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on masonry, concrete and hardscape/landscape installation and finishing.
- Mechanical knowledge related to mixers, prepwork , and heavy equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to concrete projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks like tile laying or flooring installation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs. TRANSPORTATION IS REQUIRED!!
- Using heavy equipment such as skid steers and lifts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple trades.
